When starting Year 12 we offer the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Sport as an option. This is a two-year course equivalent to one A Level, where students will have four one-hour lessons of BTEC Sport per week. Students at Canbury have a full calendar of inclusive, competitive sports to participate in throughout the year. An extensive inter-house sporting competition is run including cross country, basketball, football and an annual Sports Day in the summer. Canbury is also part of the Surrey Special Schools Sports Association (SSSSA) which offers termly inter-school sporting tournaments for our students in football, badminton, dance and yoga, union and cricket.
