Learning grammar, words and phrases will help you to hold conversations and write essays.
At least a grade 6, but preferably a grade 7 at GCSE, in the chosen language, is recommended and you should feel confident at this level in listening, reading, writing and speaking. A secure understanding of grammar is essential for translation skills.
