Music at Chase Grammar is a thriving, vibrant department. Housed in its own building in the school grounds, the Music Department boasts excellent facilities, including a suite of practice rooms, a large recital room, a teaching room, and a computer room. As an integral part of school life, Music is the foundation for many of our school events and activities, and it is a cornerstone of the Chase Passport System. We are proud of the quality of our music-making and the wide variety of Enrichment opportunities that we are able to provide for our students. In addition to our curriculum provision, our team of peripatetic teachers offer tuition on a variety of instruments and pupils are able to take part in a wide range of different choirs, ensembles and clubs. Our ultimate aim is to produce confident, creative and collaborative young people who are inspired by music; who are curious and knowledgeable about the musical world around them; and who have developed the skills and expertise for success in their future lives.
