Art and Design gives students the opportunity to develop their investigative, analytical, experimental, practical, technical and expressive skills; develop aesthetic understanding and critical judgement. It is important that students have independence of mind in developing, refining and communicating their own ideas and have a genuine interest in, enthusiasm for and enjoyment of Art and Design. They will have the opportunity to work with a very broad range of materials, techniques and processes and hence students will need to have a passion for experimenting and exploring different ways forward for their ideas.
