An essay on a text or a film (from a prescribed list); translation into the target language Paper three: Speaking. General conversation based on two stimulus cards using topics from Paper 1 A2 Paper one: Listening, reading and writing. Aspects of society, current trends and current Issues; artistic culture; aspects of political life; translation into English; translation into the target language Paper two: Writing. An essay on each of the two works they have studied (a book and a film, or two books) Paper three: Speaking. General discussion based on a stimulus card, followed by presentation and further discussion on an individually researched project
