The course is studied over two years with three exams at the end of Year 13. There is also a 3,000 - 4,000 word essay coursework component on historical interpretations
Preferably at least a Grade 6 at GCSE History and a Grade 6 in English Language.
There are two exams (Papers 1 and 39) each worth 30% of your A Level grade which last two and a quarter hours. One exam (Paper 2) worth 20% of your grade which lasts one and a half hours and the coursework also worth 20%.
