We are pleased to offer this qualification as part of our academic Enrichment Programme in the Sixth Form. The EPQ, equivalent to an AS level qualification, offers the opportunity to undertake an extended piece of research, resulting in a Research Log, Written Report and Presentation submitted at the start of the Upper Sixth. Candidates have a free choice of topic, although it is likely that topics will emerge from a particular interest within an A level subject or relate to the subject chosen for university study. EPQ is an integral part of the timetabled curriculum, with the Taught Sessions delivered once every three weeks. These cover topics such as research, bibliographic, and essay writing skills (including Oxford Referencing) as well as time management, research ethics and critical thinking. You will also be allocated a personal Supervisor with whom you will meet individually to develop your project and to further refine your skills.
