A Level Physical Education qualification allows students to play to their strengths and gain dynamic theoretical and practical skills for further education or work. It enables students to gain an understanding of factors that affect participation (applied anatomy and physiology, skill acquisition and society and sport) and also factors that can help optimise performance (exercise physiology and biomechanics, sports psychology and sport and society and technology in sport).
For entry into the Sixth Form, candidates are required to have at least six good passes at GCSE, including English and Maths.
70% examinations, 30% NEA (15% practical, 15% written coursework)
