Whoever we are, we engage with businesses every day. Studying an A Level in Business will give you insight into this world of commerce as well as offer a gateway to a number of university courses and career options. Business graduates remain amongst the most employable, not surprising given the disciplines that an A Level business qualification covers. Topics include: • Managers, leadership and decision making • Decision making to improve performance in marketing, operations, finance and human resources • Analysing the strategic position and direction of a business • Managing strategic change
King's welcomes applications for admission to the 6th Form. We have a significant post-GCSE entry into our 6th Form and places are offered based on an interview and references from the candidate's current school. Candidates are expected to gain at least a 4/5 or 6 in each subject they hope to study at A Level and overall a minimum of 5 GCSEs with at least 4 GCSEs at Grade 4. Candidates applying to study BTECS will be offered places after interviews with the Deputy Head Academic and the Headmaster.
A Level assessment consists of three, two-hour written examinations taken at the end of the two-year course. All three papers will draw on material from the whole course and will feature a range of question styles including multiple choice questions, short answer questions, essay questions, data response questions and case studies.
