The Art and Design course embraces the whole breadth of media and techniques. Pupils can study: • Fine Art • 3D Design • Graphic Design • Photography • Digital Media • Printmaking • Textiles • Ceramics
King's welcomes applications for admission to the 6th Form. We have a significant post-GCSE entry into our 6th Form and places are offered based on an interview and references from the candidate's current school. Candidates are expected to gain at least a 4/5 or 6 in each subject they hope to study at A Level and overall a minimum of 5 GCSEs with at least 4 GCSEs at Grade 4. Candidates applying to study BTECS will be offered places after interviews with the Deputy Head Academic and the Headmaster.
Art is assessed through coursework (60%) and a final examination which lasts for 15 hours.
