BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport caters for a wide range of pupils with a passion for sport. The selected units enable them to experience both examination-based and internal assessments. Students explore anatomy and physiology, nutrition, fitness and diet, professions within the sports and leisure industry and analyse two practical sports performances. Our onsite facilities enable us to cater for a wide range of activities and our links with local clubs, schools and businesses allow students to access all opportunities available and develop the skills necessary for the course and future employment.
For entry into the Sixth Form, candidates are required to have at least six good passes at GCSE, including English and Maths.
Each module is assessment through a combination of exams and coursework.
