Course summary

The course is designed for pupils with a wide interest in sport. The course focuses quite heavily on sports science and would be perfect for pupils who are looking to complete a degree in Sports. A good understanding of Biology would be a course requirement as well as completion of GCSE PE. We follow the OCR specification and the course is a two-year linear programme. This specification gives learners a clear appreciation of key issues in physical education including balanced, active and healthy lifestyles, a focus on performance in practical activity, and the opportunity to pursue particular areas of interest.
