This exciting and challenging course will introduce you to the dynamic world of business. It covers a broad range of topics that are designed to provide you with the knowledge and understanding that underpin modern business. You will learn how entrepreneurs turn simple ideas into profitable businesses, as well as how companies operate and make important business decisions on a local, national and global scale. Above all, the course will encourage you to become enterprising and think creatively and commercially in order to solve problems and explore what it takes to be successful in business today.
To help you achieve the best grades possible at A level we ask that you choose the subjects you enjoy, have an interest in and did well in at GCSE. In most cases, this means you will have achieved at least a grade 6 at GCSE in the subjects you wish to study at A level. This does not apply to all A-level subjects we offer, for example, Politics and Psychology, as it is unlikely you will have studied either at GCSE. We will discuss entry requirements in these instances with you.
• Exam 1 (35%) • Exam 2 (35%) • Exam 3 – A pre-released case study (30%)
