Students will, over the course of all the units, study a range of poetry, prose and drama, ensuring a broad coverage and appreciation of the major forms of literature. They will develop the ability to analyse in depth, and be able to interpret in critical and discerning ways, as well as become adept at engaging with multiplicity of meaning. The course is made up of three exam based components - Drama, Prose and Poetry.
