Entry requirements

One of the main reasons to choose this course is if you have a genuine passion for and interest in sport. If you have a focused work ethic and prefer the concept of a coursework based course with no terminal examinations, then this will suit you. The course also appeals to pupils who may be performing at a high level themselves with a demanding training and competitive schedule. The vast majority of the work is completed during lesson time therefore there is less preparation work to complete outside of school.

How you'll be assessed

Each two-year course consists of Mandatory and Optional units, with the Optional units determined by staff expertise and pupil interest. The Mandatory units are: • Anatomy and Physiology • Fitness Training and Programming for Health, Sport and Well-being • Professional Development in the Sports Industry • Sports Leadership
