The Music Technology A Level course provides students with a grounding in both the theory and history of Music Technology and its practical application through a range of coursework-based tasks. Students will learn to sequence, record, and arrange using modern, professional-standard technology. This course has an emphasis on practical projects making use of our two top-of-the-range recording studios.
To maximise success at A Level we recommend: • A sum of at least 30 points from the top five GCSE grades • Grade 5 in GCSE English • Grade 5 in GCSE Mathematics • Grade 7* in the subjects to be studied at A Level All applications to subjects will be considered. Students are encouraged to speak with the Head of Department, Deputy Head Academic, or Sixth Form Academic Coordinator who can advise further on suitability to the A Level course. *Grade 8 for Further Mathematics.
