IB Biology covers a slightly broader range of topics than the A Level Biology and tends to rely a little more on learning of material rather than applying knowledge to problems. In other respects the two courses are fairly similar. The course also incorporates a large section of the assessment for the students to study their own experimental project. This is both challenging and rewarding.
Each of the six subjects is marked out of 7 (maximum of 42 points).
