
Religious Studies at Key Stage 5 is a thriving subject. The course builds on the successes at GCSE and allows pupils to study three discrete elements: -Philosophy -Religion and Ethics -Christianity The course allows students to explore the thoughts of philosophers from the ancient world, Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, as well as modern philosophical thinkers such as Joseph Fletcher, Peter Vardy, and Mary Daly, to name but a few.
We are delighted that you are considering Halliford Sixth Form. Entry into Sixth Form is based on an interview, a satisfactory report from the previous school, and a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above including English and Mathematics. It is a requirement that students achieve at least a Grade 6 at GCSE in the subjects that they wish to study at A Level.
