Theme 3 Aspects of French/Spanish/German speaking society: current issues (Year 2) Theme 4 Aspects of political life in the French/Spanish/German speaking world (Year 2) Students must also undertake an independent research project of their own choice and study either one book and one film or two books from a prescribed list over the course of the two years.

Entry into Sixth Form is based on an interview, a satisfactory report from the previous school, and a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above including English and Mathematics. It is a requirement that students achieve at least a Grade 6 at GCSE in the subjects that they wish to study at A Level.
