Students will be introduced to a variety of experiences that explore a range of fine art media, processes, and techniques. They will be aware of both the traditional and new media. Students will explore the use of drawing for different purposes, using a variety of methods on a variety of scales. They will be required to work in one or more areas of fine art, such as the list below: • Drawing & Painting • Mixed Media • Installation • Print Making • Moving Image
GCSE Art & Design pass grade, or equivalent. Evidence of achievement in a creative subject.
This is a linear course of two years. Final assessment consists of 15 hours practical examination and submission of a portfolio of work.
