You will develop critical awareness of the changing nature of politics and the relationships between political ideas, institutions and processes. The course looks in depth at the government and politics of the UK and USA and the core political ideologies of socialism, liberalism and conservatism.
An overall average of a grade 6 at GCSE or IGCSE in all subjects is required for entry to our Sixth Form, with a minimum of a grade 7 in the subjects you wish to study at A Level (a minimum of a grade 8 in Further Maths). In addition, you will be expected to take on greater responsibility for your own independent learning as part of the transition from life at school to university and further career.
