Mathematics is the study of patterns abstracted from the world around us— it has thousands of applications in almost all aspects of life. As well as being a course worth studying in its own right, Mathematics supports many other subjects, most notably the sciences.
Our Sixth Form entry requirements are typically for students to achieve a minimum of five GCSEs, including grades 5 or above in English and Maths.
The A Level will be assessed by means of 3 papers, each 2 hours long. All exams are sat at the end of year 13. Paper 1 — Pure Mathematics Paper 2 — Pure Mathematics Paper 3 — Statistics and Mechanics
