If you choose to study A level Spanish at LGS, you will be taught by three experienced and dedicated teachers who will seek to help you develop your language skills, as well as deepening your understanding of Spain and the Hispanic world. A significant bonus is that you will have the opportunity to practise and improve your language skills in a dedicated one to one session with a native Spanish speaker.
To maximise success at A Level we recommend: • A sum of at least 30 points from the top five GCSE grades • Grade 5 in GCSE English • Grade 5 in GCSE Mathematics • Grade 7* in the subjects to be studied at A Level All applications to subjects will be considered. Students are encouraged to speak with the Head of Department, Deputy Head Academic, or Sixth Form Academic Coordinator who can advise further on suitability to the A Level course. *Grade 8 for Further Mathematics.
