We run a model that has an additional allocation of teaching time in Year 12 and 13 for AS Further Mathematics and A level Further Mathematics respectively. The Further Mathematics content is taught alongside the Year 12 AS Mathematics and Year 13 A level Mathematics courses. The AS Further Mathematics programme of study will be examined at the end of Year 12 to form the AS Further Mathematics level award. The A level Further Mathematics programme of study will then be examined at the end of Year 13 to form the A level Further Mathematics award.
New students are welcomed into the coeducational Sixth Form, for which the minimum requirement for automatic entry is five GCSE subjects at grade 5. Students must also have achieved grade 5 in English Language and Mathematics.
