Course summary

1. You will be taught by highly experienced and well-qualified teachers who understand the requirements for you to succeed at A Level. 2. You will receive individual support to allow you to achieve your potential in the subject. The department offers additional revision and support sessions, alongside extension activities such as participation in the Biology Olympiad. 3. You will develop a wide range of essential transferable skills for further education and the workplace. Practical work is an important aspect of our course and in addition to the experiments you complete in class, you will attend a residential Biology field course. Entry requirements

General minimum entry requirement: Five GCSE passes at grade 6 or above with a grade 7 preferred in subjects to be studied at A level, and required in certain cases.
