History and Politics are enduringly popular subjects at St Edmund’s, and our examination results are very strong: more than half of our A–level History and Politics students in 2018 achieved an A or B grade. We are equally proud that so many of our students have continued their studies at top universities including Oxford and Cambridge; however, our overriding aim is that lessons should instil in all pupils a love for their subject, whatever their aptitudes and interests.
a minimum of 6 GCSE or IGCSE passes at Grade C or Grade 4 or above, together with minimum Grade B or Grade 5 (preferably Grade 6) in their chosen A-level subjects.
