L6 students study the whole A Level course, Pure and Applied Mathematics. In U6, students study two further pure modules and then two Option modules - Mechanics, Statistics or Decision Mathematics, although the precise modules can be tailored to suit the group. This course builds on the skills from the A Level course and draws together different areas of knowledge, skills and understanding. Problem solving, proof and mathematical modelling will be assessed in the context of the wider knowledge which students taking A Level \Problem-solving. Further Mathematics will have studied.
Level 8 in GCSE Mathematics is required.
Four papers, each 1hr 30min.
