Course summary

A Level Chemistry provides girls with the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, both practical and cognitive, and gives an appreciation of how this branch of Science contributes to the success of the economy and society at large. As well as being an essential subject to study for those wishing to apply for Medicine or Veterinary Sciences, Chemistry can also provide routes into Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, Law and the consumer goods industry. Entry requirements

It is advisable that a Grade 7 or above is achieved at GCSE in Chemistry or Combined Science to study Chemistry at A Level.
