Course summary

If you like debating life's big questions then A Level Religious Studies is the right choice for you! • RS uses philosophical perspectives to analyse Christianity, human nature, and ethics • RS helps to develop thinking skills that can be applied across all other subjects • RS helps to develop essay writing skills and clarity of expression Why choose Religious Studies? Since ancient times human beings have debated the nature of human existence, its importance, and its origins. The ideas of philosophers have helped to pave the way for the development of science and other fields of knowledge, yet there are still many unanswered questions to explore. Religious Studies explores questions of life and death, values and relationships, and the nature of reality itself. Religious Studies is an inclusive subject designed for everybody, and you do not have to be religious to study it, you simply need to have a desire to understand the world around you and your role within it. In every part of the course, there is room for your ideas, experiences, and conclusions.
