Many students who have studied Latin have gone on to study Medicine, Engineering, Maths and other STEM subjects at university. Many universities offer degrees in Latin or Latin and Greek (widely known as Classics). Oxbridge Classics courses have the highest ratio of acceptances on their courses of all subjects with around 45% of applicants gaining a place.
The minimum entry is normally five Grade 6 (or equivalent) passes. Offers will be made at the Headmaster’s discretion shortly after the interview date. At least a Grade 7 in Latin
