SPANISH Year 12 • Aspects of Hispanic society – Modern and traditional values; cyberspace; equal rights. • Artistic culture – modern-day idols; Spanish regional identity; cultural heritage or cultural landscape. • Film analysis – students study one film from a prescribed list. Year 13 • Aspects of Hispanic society – immigration; integration; racism. • Political life – today’s youth, tomorrow’s citizens; monarchies, republics and dictatorships; popular movements. • Literary text – students study a text from a prescribed list.
The minimum entry is normally five Grade 6 (or equivalent) passes. Offers will be made at the Headmaster’s discretion shortly after the interview date. Students need to have achieved an least a Grade 7 at GCSE/IGCSE.
