The focus that English Language has on both spoken and written communication makes it highly valuable for any course or job which relies on this. The exam board has worked closely with universities to ensure that the skills needed in Higher Education are being taught in this course: forensic analysis, evaluation, discursive essay writing, wider research, independent projects, and oral communication.
The minimum entry is normally five Grade 6 (or equivalent) passes. Offers will be made at the Headmaster’s discretion shortly after the interview date. At least a Grade 6 in English Language IGCSE/GCSE provides good foundations for the course but the content at A level b
