A level of Business enables students to develop a broad understanding of fundamental business concepts, such as Marketing, Finance, Operations and Human Resources. Students will learn how their knowledge can be applied in the real world and will explore the principles of business in today's society. The course will demonstrate the interrelated nature of business using business models, theories and techniques to support analysis of contemporary business issues and situations in today's world. The course will help students to engage through topics and issues that are relevant in today's society.
Sixth Form applicants are expected to achieve a minimum of six subjects in Grades 9 to 5 (including Mathematics and English) at GCSE, or international equivalent. Students are expected to have at least Grade 6 at GCSE in the subjects they wish to study at A level. Students wishing to take Further Mathematics at A level must have a Grade 8 in Mathematics at GCSE.
