A Level Geography enables pupils to better understand the incredible planet upon which we live and rely so heavily and the challenges it faces. Geography at Bede’s offers a good balance of human and physical geography. The physical geography topics include coastal environments, hazardous environments and the carbon and water cycles. The human topics include globalisation and global governance, changing places and contemporary urban environments. A useful and wide range of skills, including fieldwork and research skills, are integrated into the course. Geography also develops digital and mapping, statistical, graphical and ICT skills, all of which are much sought after by future employers.
