Digital Media will help you develop the knowledge and practical skills required in the digital media industry. You will gain hands-on experience of the production process, developing your ideas from planning, through editing and post-production, to final presentation.
Entrance to the Sixth Form is conditional on GCSE results, a minimum of five GCSEs at grades 9 – 4 with a grade 6 in those subjects to be studied. A satisfactory reference from your current Head of Year 11 and evidence of predicted GCSE results.
The course contains a range of centre assessed units with both practical and wider project-based assessments, as well as examined units on Media products and audiences and Preproduction and planning.
