Course summary
Art is a two-year NEA course. Students have the flexibility to explore and experiment, refine and build upon rigorous recording disciplines set down in a portfolio style foundation programme designed to underpin Component 1. Students will develop imaginative and creative powers, experimental and documentary skills, and a specialist vocabulary alongside an understanding of the practice of artists. Component 2allows students to prove that they understand the assessment criteria by producing a body of work independently.
