Entry requirements

The normal expectation for entry to our Sixth Form is six Grades 9 - 5 or equivalent at GCSE, but we do consider all applications on an individual basis, so if you have any concerns about meeting these grades please come and speak to Mrs C L Wheeler or Mr Smith, our Assistant Principal (Academic). A minimum of a Grade 7 at GCSE is essential background for the study of Mathematics in the Sixth Form. Just as important, though, is a willingness to develop logical thought processes and to get to grips with abstract ideas. The ability to see patterns and an enjoyment of puzzles may also help towards success in the course. A degree of perseverance is essential.
