Entry requirements

The normal expectation for entry to our Sixth Form is six Grades 9 - 5 or equivalent at GCSE, but we do consider all applications on an individual basis, so if you have any concerns about meeting these grades please come and speak to Mrs C L Wheeler or Mr Smith, our Assistant Principal (Academic). GCSE History is desirable but not essential as background knowledge is not necessary. The chief requirements are an ability to write and present an argument coherently and a willingness to read, both to understand issues and to extract information. An ability to put your viewpoint in discussion is also very useful.
