A Level Art & Design pupils at Stover can choose to be entered for one of the following courses: • Art, craft and design • Photography • Textile design Component 1: Portfolio The contents of the portfolio will be determined by the nature of the course of study and is driven by the pupils own personal investigation. The emphasis of this component will be on the development of understanding and skills using an appropriate range of materials, processes and techniques. Component 2: Externally set assignment (Examination) Separate question papers will be provided for each title. These will consist of a choice of five questions to be used as starting points. Students are required to select one. Students will be provided with examination papers on 1 February, or as soon as possible after that date.
