Course summary

Lower Sixth A Level and BTEC students have the opportunity to undertake an EPQ which culminates with a 5000 word essay or equivalent artefact (creative piece). This is an excellent opportunity for students to extend their skills beyond their subjects, to prepare for university or a future career and to boost their UCAS application. The EPQ is equivalent to half an A Level and some universities will take this into account when making offers. Lower Sixth start this qualification during their Michaelmas Term and complete it by the Lent Term in Upper Sixth.
