Course summary

Lessons will be theory based using a combination of presentations, videos and the course textbook. Case studies involving real businesses provide students with an insight into, and experience of how businesses work. Students are encouraged to follow current business developments in the news and think critically about contemporary business issues. A good knowledge of GCSE Mathematics will assist students with the quantitative aspects of the course. Essay writing skills will be developed during the two years and will be essential to ensure success in this course.
