Classic texts are brought to life via a seminar approach, using imaginative critical methods and wide background reading. We will perform poems and plays in the classroom and, wherever possible, will travel to see theatre productions. Essay skills are taught discretely to ensure that all pupils feel confident in writing critically and academically. Skills of formal referencing and bibliography writing are taught through the coursework element.
