Religion, Philosophy and Ethics helps students to develop their rational thought and powers of critical analysis and also to formulate their own arguments as well as equipping students with the skills necessary to question the arguments of others. Many students continue to study a combination of Religion, Philosophy and Ethics or Theology at University. Religion, Philosophy and Ethics at A Level is beneficial for many other courses, including Medicine, Nursing and Law.
Academically, a Grade 6 at GCSE Religious Studies is required for entry into the subject. More importantly, an inquiring mind and the desire to seek deeper truths are an asset in opting for this course.
