Course summary

A-Level Biology builds upon GCSE knowledge before extending students understanding to develop a closer relationship with the world in which we live. We start at the cellular and molecular level, which then helps to understand the tissues we find in organs, and then eventually how these organs work. There is comparison along the way of prokaryotes vs eukaryotes, and plants vs animals, helping develop Biologists who have a broad understanding of the living world.
