The Extended Project Qualification allows students to choose an area of interest to research and craft a project around. This allows them the chance to develop a range of skills such as researching, project management and writing that will prepare them for life after sixth form, either in the world of work or at university.
• Achieving at least 5 grade 6’s at GCSE including English and Maths. • Obtaining at least a grade 6 in those subjects students wish to study at A level (or equivalent).
Students will be assessed by their mentor on a range of skills such as: the management of their project; their use of resources; the development of their project and decision-making skills; and their ability to review and reflect on the process throughout.
