Music Technology is a ‘hands on’ subject which will teach students how to record, edit and mix music. Of course, nowadays, high quality music can be made with relatively little equipment, but students will try out different microphones in a real studio, editing with a professional mixing desk and Pro Tools software, as well as learning to set-up PA systems for live events.
We require Grade 7 in GCSE Music or relevant experience in Music Technology as the requirements for external and internal entrants to Clifton College Sixth Form.
