You will also be introduced to a wide range of contemporary and historical artists and art forms that will allow you to grow and develop your own style. You will be encouraged to research, experiment and develop personal and innovative pieces of work that will stretch and challenge your individual artistic talents. Visits to galleries, universities and field trips are an integral part of the course.
College entry to include GCSE grade 4 or above in an Art and Design subject or BTEC equivalent. (please refer to the Entry Requirements section for further details). Alternatively – submission of a suitable portfolio and successful interview.
The Fine Art course is 60% coursework and 40% externally set examination. All work is internally assessed and then externally verified by an exam board moderator.
