On successful completion of the course, learners may progress to Level 2 programmes in college, or undertake training courses or employment. Learners with an Education, Health and Social Care Plan may progress to a supported internship.
To study the Level 1 programme you will have achieved a minimum of three 2 grades in your GCSEs, in addition to a grade 2 in English Language (please refer to the Entry Requirements section for further details).
All units are coursework based. Learners are required to receive a recommendation to progress, together with the appropriate grade in Functional Skills, in order to advance to a Level 2 course. English and Mathematics are assessed by examination.
