5 x grade 4 or above including English Language and Maths. Grade 6 in Maths. A Level Mathematics must be studied alongside Further Mathematics.
The A Level Further Mathematics course is assessed through three written papers, of equal weighting, at the end of the second year, each 2 hours in duration. Paper 1 – Further Pure Mathematics Paper 2 – Further Pure Mathematics Paper 3 – Decision and Statistics There will be a mix of question styles, from short, single-mark questions to multi-step problems.
