IT BTEC

Course summary

This qualification is equivalent to one A Level and provides students with upto-date IT industry knowledge as well as a range of practical skills required to succeed in higher education and in a modern day career. Students will develop a common core of IT knowledge and study areas such as the relationship between hardware and software that form an IT system, managing and processing data to support business, using IT to communicate and share information, computational thinking skills and the principles of designing and developing computer programs.
